Our Aircraft
We operate one Bell Jet Ranger helicopter that was fully refurbished by Bell Helicopter Incorporated in 2021 to meet all the manufacturer’s operations and safety specifications. The aircraft now has leather interior and features a smooth comfortable ride while enjoying the magical scenery.
The helicopter is US Registered and maintained by Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Licensed Engineers in our own facility. It is maintained to Federal Aviation Administration, Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority regulatory standards as well as Bell Helicopter and Rolls Royce Factory Standards.
The maintenance of our impeccable 100% safety record is of the utmost importance and this is facilitated as we operate in full conformance with the Regulations and under the oversight of both the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority (JCAA).
Island Hoppers Helicopter Tours Limited is Jamaica Tourist Board approved for the transportation of all visitors to our shores and carries USD10,000,000 liability insurance through reputable international insurance companies in the United States of America and the United Kingdom.

Our operating hours are from 8:30 a.m to 5:30 p.m daily except when reservations are earlier or later than these times in which case we always try to facilitate such bookings. However, please note that Jamaica Civil Aviation Regulations prohibits the flying of passengers at night.
